The GOLFSPA Szczytna – Polanica Zdrój field is the only Polish golf field situated on a mountainous area - at a height of 565 m above sea level. It was formed on a naturally uplifted land of Kłodzko region surrounded by Stołowe, Orlickie and Bystrzyckie mountain chain and numerous Kłodzko health resorts. The altitude and the relief of the field make it a difficult challenge for the player but it is compensated by the magnificent views of the mountainous nature.

The specific feature of the field is also the large altitude difference of 45 metres between the highest and the lowest point of the field. To keep the ball on the fairway, one needs to use the iron type clubs. There are no water obstacles and bunkers are shallow which makes it easier for players, but the highly graduated roughs may be difficult. The players are accompanied by a pleasant breath of mountainous wind, which mitigates heatwaves even during a very hot summer.

The field is located on a picturesque hill surrounded by Mount Szczytnik, ski resorts Zieleniec and Czarna Góra, between the internationally recognised spa towns Polanica Zdrój and Duszniki Zdrój. Since the field offers an attractive geographical location, only 18 km away from the border crossing point in Kudowa Zdrój-Słone, it closely cooperates with Czech golf fields and takes part in international golf tournaments.
